Mastering Suite Series

Our built-to-order "Mastering Suite" furniture represents the original designs that first appeared at Sterling Sound NY*, Sony Music Studios NY and Absolute Audio NY. The engineers at these studios recognized that poorly designed consoles were degrading the acoustics in some very well-designed environments. Sterling Modular, in collaboration with the most respected industry professionals, set out to correct the problem. The results exceeded everyone's expectations in both performance and appearance. These designs have become the preferred standard among many of the most renowned mastering facilities around the world.

The fabrication of each "Mastering Suite" is assigned to a highly experienced craftsman that personally mills, assembles, finishes and packs every component of your furniture from start to finish.

The history of Sterling Modular Systems is rooted in acoustical consulting and studio design. Acoustical impact is always a consideration and defines our "Acoustics Matter" approach to studio furniture design. The Mastering Suite combines acoustical performance, superior ergonomics and unmatched craftsmanship.

• Generous use of thick, solid hardwood trims. Hand picked boards, hand crafted into a piece of fine furniture.
• Domestic, semi exotic or exotic, there are no limitations on wood species (with the exception of endangered species).
• There are no limits on the configuration, gear requirements, style, material selection or shape.
• Fabric covered ventilation panels and open frame architecture reduce acoustical reflections and allow ample wire access and thermal venting.
